Farm Information

*SELECTION OF TREES: We have a limited selection of Christmas trees available to cut each year and as a result we cannot guarantee what we will have to choose from when you get here. Check our Facebook site or call (512) 281-5016 for latest updates on Christmas tree availability.

*WEATHER*: We are open rain or shine.

*SAWS AND TWINE PROVIDED: We provide you with a bow saw to cut your tree down and twine for you to tie it on your car. We are not responsible for the tree once it leaves the farm.

*PICTURE TAKING; Customer photos are always welcome. Professional photography is not allowed except to people who pay admission in October.

*HAYRIDE; Last hayride to the field during all seasons will leave 30 minutes before closing time.

*SMOKING: Our farm is a smoke-free & alcohol/drug free facility.

*PAYMENT OPTIONS: We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express

*CHILDREN: Please closely supervise your children to ensure their safety

*ACCESSIBILITY: We are a real working farm with unpaved, uneven surfaces. Strollers, wagons and wheelchairs are welcome it may be a little bumpy. Our bathrooms and hayrides are stroller/wheelchair accessible.

*RESTROOMS: We offer indoor clean bathroom facilities and outside handwashing stations.

*ANIMALS: Our farm animals are friendly. They may however bite fingers that are held in or around the animal’s mouth.

*FOOD: Charities offer food for sale the Festival weekends and the first 2 weekends of the CHRISTmas season. During other days we offer cold drinks and snacks in the barn store.

*DOGS: Friendly dogs on a leash are very welcome. We love our dogs at Elgin CHRISTmas Tree Farm.

*SUNDAYS ON THE FARM: Please note that we open at 12:00 p.m. on Sundays.  During the CHRISTmas season we have a church service on the Farm starting at 11:00 a.m. – everyone is welcome to attend the church service.
